Rob and I just returned from the Comprehensive Literacy and Illinois Reading Recovery® Conference in Chicago.We had a wonderful time visiting with the many dedicated teachers. A few teachers cautiously asked me about Danny's health. Danny will be 15 in April!  He is having trouble with his back legs but manages to go up and down the stairs without help. He goes outside when needed and still has a healthy appetite (it usually takes him about a minute to finish a meal). He loves his Saturday morning pancake breakfast and of course, his special treat of Velvetta cheese.

He wags his tail and cuddles with Frank, so life is good. Thank you all for asking and caring.
