Science encourages students to explore their world and discover new things.

Young students are naturally curious, which makes science an ideal subject for them to study. Science is a hands-on operative subject, making it especially well-suited to active elementary school children.

The developmental process of scientific literacy is an important part of the educational foundation for children, but it takes years to cultivate. Studying science supports a meaningful understanding of language and mathematics, and reenforces a child’s innate wonderment about how the natural world works. And an early introduction to science is basic preparation for STEM-related careers later in life.
