The Nonfiction/Informational Collection

Reading nonfiction/informational books excites children about the natural world and teaches them that real life can be as interesting as fiction. Learning about the world increases a students’ background knowledge. A young student who has wide, general knowledge about the world has a good foundation for learning and later academic success.
